Construction Laborer

In this vital role, you'll assist with a variety of hands-on tasks on sports construction projects, helping keep job sites organized and efficient. Your proactive approach and willingness to learn will contribute directly to the successful completion of exciting residential and commercial sports projects throughout the Tri-State area and East Coast. This position offers an engaging, fast-paced work environment where every day presents new challenges and real opportunities to develop valuable construction and equipment skills. Responsibilities Assist with preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and staging materials from our Aberdeen, NJ warehouse. Support skilled tradespeople and foremen by carrying tools, supplies, and materials to designated areas on the job site. Help with installation of bases, stone, asphalt, concrete, and specialty sports construction surfaces under supervision. Operate basic machinery or tools as trained and authorized (plate compactors, power tools, small equipment, etc.). Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with daily site cleanup to promote safety and efficiency. Report any hazards, safety concerns, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors to ensure a secure working environment. Travel with the crew to various projects in NJ/NY/CT and occasionally along the East Coast. Skills and Qualifications Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn sports construction techniques. Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures (or willingness to learn). Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for coordinating with crew members, foremen, and supervisors. Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to completing assigned tasks and helping the crew finish strong each day. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
