Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including material handling and site cleanup. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as concrete mixers, saws, drills, and concrete pumps to support various construction activities. Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure durable and high-quality results. Install rebar, framing, drywall, stucco, flooring, tile, and trim carpentry components following blueprint specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements. Support masonry work and heavy lifting tasks while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and workplace regulations. Assist with demolition, restoration projects, and renovation tasks as needed to meet project timelines. Qualifications Previous experience working on construction sites or in related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scope and materials. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete cutting equipment, and other construction machinery. Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations specific to the construction industry. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
