Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Commercial Site Work Laborer, where you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of large-scale industrial and commercial projects. This energetic position involves performing essential manual tasks, assisting with site preparation, and ensuring safety standards are upheld throughout the construction process. Your hands-on contributions will help build durable infrastructure while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry. We are seeking motivated individuals eager to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to impactful projects. Duties Assist with site preparation activities, including excavation, grading, and erosion control measures to protect the environment and ensure project stability Handle manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution Operate power tools and basic equipment safely, performing routine maintenance or repairs as needed Follow all workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards, to maintain a secure working environment Support installation of erosion control devices and ensure proper placement according to project specifications Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures safely while adhering to safety protocols such as respiratory protection and fall prevention measures Qualifications Prior industrial or commercial construction experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with equipment repair is a plus Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Knowledge of erosion control techniques and implementation practices Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently while maintaining safety protocols at all times Join us in building essential infrastructure with energy and precision!
