Job Description A large enterprise organization is hiring a Threat Hunter to support its cybersecurity team in Iselin, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and investigating potential threats across a large, complex environment while working closely with incident response and security engineering teams. You will work with Splunk or other SIEM platforms, security logs, endpoint detection tools, and AI-driven security findings. A major part of the role will involve investigating vulnerabilities and suspicious activity, identifying impacted systems, assessing severity and scope, and supporting containment and remediation efforts. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in threat hunting, SOC operations, cybersecurity operations, or incident response Hands-on experience with Splunk or another SIEM platform Experience investigating and correlating security logs Experience with EDR or endpoint security tools Strong understanding of vulnerability analysis and IOC investigation Experience identifying impacted systems and assessing security risk Desired Skills & Experience Experience reviewing findings from AI-driven security or scanning tools Experience with web application or certificate-related security issues Experience working with incident response or DevSecOps teams Experience in a large enterprise security environment What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities Proactively hunt for threats across enterprise infrastructure Investigate SIEM alerts and correlate security events across multiple data sources Analyze endpoint and EDR activity Review and validate findings produced by AI-driven security and scanning tools Investigate vulnerabilities, web application findings, and certificate-related security issues Identify impacted systems and assess severity and scope Support containment, remediation, and escalation efforts Collaborate with incident response, security engineering, and DevSecOps teams Document investigation findings and recommendations The Offer 12+ month contract Competitive hourly compensation You will receive the following benefits: Medical Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
