In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks, assisting in the construction, renovation, and restoration of structures. You'll work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential developments, ensuring safety and quality at every step. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to impactful construction endeavors. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete according to project specifications Install rebar and formwork for concrete structures following blueprints and technical drawings Help with framing, drywall installation, roofing, stucco application, and other carpentry tasks Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Support heavy lifting, material transport, and site cleanup to keep projects progressing smoothly Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping is a plus Skills in masonry, framing (including metal stud framing), drywall installation, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, and restoration work are desirable Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on scaffolding or elevated surfaces; ability to stand for extended periods Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely This role is paid employment — we value every team member's contribution from day one.
