Pond Construction Technician / General Construction Laborer Stonewall Creek is looking for dependable, hardworking Construction Technicians to join our pond construction and maintenance team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding outdoor position . Our team builds, renovates, and maintains ponds, water features, filtration systems, and related outdoor projects. We are looking for people who are comfortable working with their hands, solving problems in the field, and working outdoors year-round. Responsibilities Build and renovate koi ponds, water features, and related outdoor projects Perform excavation, grading, digging, and general construction work Install pond liners, filtration equipment, pumps, drains, and plumbing Install and repair PVC plumbing, valves, fittings, and equipment Move rock, gravel, soil, equipment, and construction materials Load and unload trucks and trailers Use hand tools and power tools safely Assist with pond cleanouts, maintenance, and equipment repairs Troubleshoot basic plumbing and mechanical issues Keep trucks, tools, equipment, and job sites clean and organized Work as part of a crew and follow instructions from supervisors Travel between job sites as required

Qualifications

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Must have reliable transportation to work Must be comfortable performing physically demanding construction work Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs. repeatedly Must be able to bend, kneel, climb, dig, shovel, and work on uneven terrain Must be willing and able to work long days when projects require it Must be able to work outdoors in extreme Las Vegas temperatures, including high heat and cold weather Must be dependable and show up on time Must be comfortable getting dirty and working around water, mud, rock, soil, and construction materials Experience That Is a PLUS Plumbing experience PVC plumbing and pipe-fitting experience Pool construction or pool maintenance experience Pond or water-feature construction Landscaping or hardscape construction Irrigation Concrete or masonry Heavy equipment operation Pump, filtration, or mechanical equipment experience Pond-building experience is a plus but not required for the right construction-minded candidate. We can teach pond-specific systems, but applicants should be comfortable with physical construction work and learning new skills. What We're Looking For We need people who want to work . This is not a light-duty landscaping position. Pond construction can involve digging, plumbing, moving heavy materials, working in water and mud, and spending full days outside. Some projects require longer days to complete critical stages of a build. Applicants must be prepared for the physical demands of the job and the Las Vegas climate.
