Full-Time Day Shift Overtime may be required Up to 90-day project can be longer with the right person About the Position Gilco Group Inc. is seeking hardworking and dependable Underground Utility Construction Laborers to join our growing team. This position supports underground utility and telecommunications construction projects throughout Marin County and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is physically capable of performing construction labor, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive job site. Responsibilities Assist with underground utility and telecommunications construction projects Perform trenching, digging, and job site preparation Install conduit, vaults, and underground utility infrastructure Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment Operate hand tools and power tools safely Assist equipment operators and crew leaders as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently Qualifications Construction experience preferred but not required Underground utility, telecommunications, or excavation experience is a plus Valid driver's license required Clean, insurable driving record required Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team What We Offer Competitive pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Overtime opportunities Full-time, year-round work Opportunities for advancement Safety-focused work environment On-the-job training for motivated individuals
