Job Description:

We are seeking a Full-Time hard-working and self-motivated individual with the willingness to learn. You will be responsible for underground and/or aerial utility construction and general labor while maintaining OSHA/DOT's guidelines.

Work Environment & Conditions:

• Field-based position working on active construction sites
• Standard schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday 40-hour work week (overtime opportunities available)
• Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions on uneven terrain
• Physical demands include frequent lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
• May require work in confined spaces and around heavy construction equipment

Safety:

• Requires personal protective equipment to be worn
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• Head protection
• Steel-toed work boots
• and other protective equipment as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Maintain a valid and clean NYS Class D driver license.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds with the ability to sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods of time.
• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Must be fluent in English and be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Must be able to work with a team and interact effectively, cooperatively, and professionally.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
• Basic understanding of construction safety practices
• Must be able to perform general construction activities and other tasks as assigned
• Must provide your own standard hand tools
• Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B)
• 1+ years of construction or manual labor experience
• Previous experience in Aerial or Underground utility construction
• OSHA 10
