Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and teardown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople with their tasks by handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Perform general labor duties such as digging, trenching, debris removal, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment Help with the installation of building materials including flooring, trim carpentry, windows, glass, and hardscaping elements Operate heavy equipment under supervision for tasks like excavation or material transport while adhering to safety protocols Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to assist in precise material placement and project execution Follow safety guidelines rigorously to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies during outdoor work and indoor projects Experience Prior construction site experience or hands-on work in building or remodeling projects is highly preferred Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment in a construction setting Knowledge of building materials installation such as flooring, trim carpentry, glass installation, electrical wiring, plumbing systems, and hardscaping construction projects Experience with interpreting technical drawings or construction plans for accurate project execution Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and heavy equipment operation Previous involvement in construction management or estimating is a plus but not required Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to building excellence!
