Job Description

Laborer/Gutter Installer Position Overview:
The Laborer/Gutter Installer plays a crucial role in supporting the business by assisting with gutter system installation, maintenance, and general labor tasks. This includes preparing work areas, handling tools and materials, and ensuring the job site remains clean, safe, and organized throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Gutter Preparation & Installation:
Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing gutters and downspouts according to project specifications, using hand and power tools.
Worksite Setup:
Help set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment to ensure efficient and secure access to rooflines and work areas.
Material Handling:
Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from the job site, ensuring all supplies are accounted for and in good condition.
Cleanup:
Maintain a clean and organized worksite throughout the day and perform thorough cleanup at the end of each shift, including removal of debris and disposal of waste.
Equipment Maintenance:
Regularly inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Safety Practices:
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and using fall protection when required.
Support Crew Leader:
Take direction from the Crew Leader, assist with layout and installation, and perform additional duties as needed to keep the project on track.
Qualifications:
Prior experience required. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment. Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or scaffolding. Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
