Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be actively involved in various stages of construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work progresses efficiently and safely. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to the successful completion of diverse building initiatives. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Support skilled workers with tasks such as concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively in accordance with safety regulations Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of plans Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for masonry, framing, rebar installation, drywall installation, and roofing Aid in concrete mixing, pumping, cutting, finishing, and curing processes to achieve desired results Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpretation of technical specifications is advantageous Hands-on experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete pouring, and finishing techniques is desirable Familiarity with operating heavy machinery and equipment used in construction sites enhances your effectiveness in this role Understanding of safety standards related to construction workplaces ensures compliance and promotes a safe working environment Basic carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and restoration work are beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout various phases of construction projects Join us if you're ready to build your career in a fast-paced environment where your hard work directly contributes to creating lasting structures. Pay:
$26.13 - $31.47 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 38.0 per week
