Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by performing physically demanding tasks, operating tools and equipment, and assisting skilled tradespeople. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials safely around the site Operate power tools, hand tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment in accordance with safety protocols Support carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and stucco application Aid in concrete work such as pouring, finishing, cutting, rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete pumping Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, heavy equipment operation, and use of hand and power tools is highly desirable Experience with masonry, roofing, restoration work, or renovation projects will be considered an asset Ability to interpret blueprint specifications and schematics accurately is important for success in this role Join us if you're eager to build your career in construction! $30.00 - $37.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
