Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of executing a variety of building projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring that work sites operate smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality building and remodeling projects. Your energy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will help drive project success from start to finish. Duties Assist with the installation of building materials, including flooring, trim carpentry, glass, and hardscaping elements. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to support carpentry, window installation, and other construction tasks. Support heavy equipment operation under supervision for site preparation and material handling. Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times. Perform outdoor work on various hardscape and remodeling projects, including site prep and material placement. Assist with construction inspection processes by helping verify quality standards and compliance with safety regulations. Skills Proven construction experience with knowledge of building construction, hardscaping, and remodeling projects. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans. Experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam is a plus. Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, flooring installation, window installation, and glass work is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA guidelines for construction sites. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely and communicate effectively. $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
