In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your hands-on work will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. Paid positions are available, and no prior experience is necessary—just a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Duties Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and concrete mixers to support various tasks Perform heavy lifting of materials like lumber, rebar, concrete forms, and other supplies needed for construction activities Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality results Install rebar, metal studs, framing components, and perform masonry and stucco work as directed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans Help with demolition, restoration projects, roofing, flooring installation, and other specialized trades as required Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps or mixers when trained and authorized Assist in installation of trim carpentry, caulking, plastering, and other finishing touches to meet project specifications Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools and equipment Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is preferred but not required Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or schematics accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and reinforcement installation techniques Understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment Willingness to learn new skills such as metal stud framing or roofing techniques Valid driver's license or reliable transportation is advantageous for job site access Embark on an exciting journey in construction where every day offers new challenges and opportunities!
