Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be at the forefront of building excellence! In this energetic role, you'll contribute to a variety of construction projects by performing essential manual tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your hands-on involvement will help bring architectural visions to life while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable construction experience across diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. Duties Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools. Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks such as framing, formwork construction, rebar installation, and concrete pouring. Operate heavy equipment and machinery like concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and cutting tools safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as steel rebar, lumber, concrete forms, and masonry units while maintaining proper safety protocols. Aid in the installation of flooring, roofing, stucco, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and other finishing work. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on-site. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprint specifications accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required. Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence specific to construction workplaces. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Experience with concrete finishing techniques such as pouring, cutting, formwork construction, plastering, caulking, and restoration work is advantageous. $24.92 - $30.02 per hour
