Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help build everything from foundational structures to intricate finishing details. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing Support concrete work by assisting with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring, and finishing techniques Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for framing, masonry, roofing, stucco application, and renovation projects Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Assist with installation of flooring, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, and other finishing tasks as needed Skills Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating processes Experience working on diverse construction projects including heavy lifting, restoration, or renovation work Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other construction equipment Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, concrete cutting, pouring, finishing and related skills Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Skilled in carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry and trim work; experience with masonry or metal stud framing is a plus Capable of operating heavy equipment safely when required; familiarity with schematics is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks Embark on a rewarding career journey where your contributions help shape communities! $24.60 - $29.62 per hour
