Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Project Execution:

Lead and supervise construction crews on job sites Assign daily tasks and ensure efficient workflow Train crew members on proper installation techniques and safety practices Maintain high morale, accountability, and productivity

Construction Operations:

Install hardscape and landscape features including patios, retaining walls, walkways, drainage systems, and plantings Read and interpret plans, layouts, and measurements Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and saws Ensure proper site preparation, grading, and material installation

Site & Quality Management:

Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project specifications Conduct daily and weekly job site inspections Track labor hours, materials, and job progress Communicate with project managers and clients as needed

Safety & Equipment Oversight:

Lead daily safety meetings and enforce all safety protocols Perform equipment inspections and ensure proper use of tools and machinery Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Complete incident reports when necessary

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Landscape Construction Crew Leader (Required) Strong background in landscape or construction work

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong understanding of construction practices, hardscape installation, and site work Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and grading plans Experience operating construction equipment (skid steers, excavators, etc.) Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Leadership & Communication:

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew Strong communication skills with team members, clients, and management Ability to maintain professionalism on job sites

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver's license (Required) Ability to pass a drug test and background check Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in all conditions
