Learn the business from the ground up, and start building a career in a business with over 25 years of experience. Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities to meet your level of experience and willingness to learn, such as Assist with and/or learn to operate various pieces of excavation equipment Perform handwork (e.g., raking, shoveling) to assist your excavation, snaking, drainage, septic, and waterproofing crews. Plumb outdoor drainage systems. Operate equipment, such as Skid Steers and Excavators Grease and fuel equipment. Assist with spotting for excavation. Perform miscellaneous job site duties as directed by the foreman. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate for the General Laborer position will have all of the following qualifications: Willingness to learn how to operate various pieces of equipment, such as, but not limited to, excavators, skid loaders, dump trucks. The ability to follow directions precisely and consistently. A positive attitude. The desire and ability to continually learn new skills on the job. The ability to lift 75 pounds. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Some training or previous experience as a laborer is a plus, but not required.
