Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Laborer at the mid-level stage, with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in diverse construction projects. In this role, you will be an essential part of our dynamic construction team, contributing your skills to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in various trade skills and ability to interpret blueprints will help drive our projects forward with precision and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career within a vibrant and fast-paced construction environment. This position is eligible for prevailing wage rate pay when the company is working on projects that require it. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to perform tasks such as framing, concrete finishing, roofing, and masonry work. Perform various trades including carpentry (trim carpentry, door hanging, framing), drywall installation, stucco application, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and cabinet installation. Assist with demolition, restoration work, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication tasks as needed. Support the installation of glass, doors, hardscape features, caulking, welding, welding repairs, and other finishing touches that enhance project quality. Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety protocols at all times. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs Work in extreme temperatures Must be comfortable with working on ladders and scaffolding Experience 3 to 6 years of proven experience working on commercial or residential construction sites. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, and heavy machinery operation. Familiarity with construction inspection procedures to ensure safety compliance and quality standards. Experience in multiple trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry (including concrete forming), roofing, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, glazing (glass installation), restoration work, and welding is highly desirable.
