This position involves working in newly constructed or renovated properties and helping transform active construction sites into clean, safe, move-in-ready spaces. The role may begin during the rough-clean phase, which can include removing and gathering large construction debris, hauling materials, moving heavy items, and preparing the space for detailed cleaning. As the project progresses, responsibilities transition into removing construction dust, dirt, residue, adhesive, paint splatter, drywall dust, and other construction-related buildup from surfaces throughout the property. Technicians will also perform detailed and final cleaning, including cleaning floors, walls, windows, trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed. Attention to detail is essential to ensure the property is professionally cleaned and ready for the owner, tenant, client, or final walkthrough. Key Responsibilities Perform rough, intermediate, and final phases of post-construction cleaning Pick up, collect, and remove construction debris and job-site materials Safely move and reposition heavy items and materials as needed Remove drywall dust, sawdust, dirt, residue, and construction buildup Remove paint splatter, adhesive, caulk, stickers, and other construction residue when appropriate Clean floors, walls, ceilings, trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, fixtures, and other surfaces Clean interior and exterior windows, glass, frames, and tracks as assigned Complete detailed kitchen and bathroom cleaning Vacuum, sweep, mop, and detail flooring according to the surface type Clean hard-to-reach areas and detail areas often missed during routine cleaning Complete final touch-ups and prepare properties for final inspection or occupancy Follow proper safety procedures when handling debris, equipment, and cleaning products Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project Work efficiently while maintaining 5 Star Services Cleaning's quality standards Communicate professionally with supervisors, contractors, property owners, and team members Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in construction environments. Post-construction cleaning can be physically demanding and may require lifting, carrying, bending, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and working around construction materials and debris. Previous cleaning, janitorial, construction cleanup, or labor experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Pay:
