Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Carpentry Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting and carpentry tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise surface preparation, painting, and structural work, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety standards and client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting and carpentry work by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer or sealants to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Execute interior and exterior painting tasks using brush, roller, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and conventional spray equipment with attention to detail in color matching and surface coating Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately carry out framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and masonry work Use hand tools and power tools safely to install fixtures, trim, molding, and perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing or remodeling projects Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting including sanding, masking, and surface repairs to ensure smooth finishes on structural surfaces Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing appropriate respiratory protection, adhering to safety protocols on-site, and maintaining a clean work environment Assist with renovation projects by performing maintenance tasks such as fixture installation, drywall repair, masonry work, or general handyman duties as needed Experience Prior experience in construction site environments with a focus on residential or commercial painting and carpentry is highly preferred Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs Knowledge of color theory to achieve accurate color matching and aesthetic finishes Hands-on experience with various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, drywall finishing, industrial painting, and construction spray painting Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for framing or remodeling projects Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, sanders), paint sprayers (airless spray equipment), and scaffolding or ladder use safely Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications Experience with surface preparation techniques such as plastering, caulking, stucco application, or masonry work enhances versatility in the role Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship!
