In this role, you will be responsible for operating y mini hoe, skid steer, trencher and performing utility and site work, and supporting various construction activities. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction equipment operation while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects. Duties Operate heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, skid steers and equipment to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance in compliance with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Assist with construction utility work including trenching, and installation support Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Follow all safety regulations diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to construction site safety protocols Support construction grading activities to ensure accurate elevation levels for project specifications Drive commercial trucks as needed for material transport or site deliveries, adhering to all commercial driving laws and regulations Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and skid steers Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic repairs on construction machinery Ability to perform construction utility work including utility locating and excavation tasks with precision Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving preferred Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and safety procedures on active job sites Skilled in construction grading, site preparation, and general excavation techniques Construction site experience with an understanding of construction utility work and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with equipment maintenance routines to ensure machinery remains in safe working condition Join us in building the infrastructure of tomorrow!
