Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Skilled Construction Laborer and play a vital role in bringing complex building projects to life! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on expertise to support project success. As a key team member, you'll be involved in a variety of tasks that ensure safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the construction process. Duties Work closely as a team with a 4-6 man crew for installing prefabricated metal buildings or other prefabricated type steel structures Use of impacts and hand tools to make steel connections, use of smaller impacts for installing screws and hardware as needed Working at heights is 100% necessary. Must be comfortable to work at heights of 60' on average Operate power tools and hand tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, caulking, and finishing work Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to execute projects accurately Conduct construction inspection tasks to verify compliance with safety standards and project specifications inspect safety equipment as required and maintain compliance with PPE Efficiently operate aerial lifts (boom lifts and scissor lifts) to complete the work Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge particularly of this type of work described above Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., hammers, saws), power tools (e.g., drills, grinders), and heavy equipment operation (e.g., man lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts or cranes) Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings accurately Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations for construction environments Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in hot/cold outside work environment Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors effectively This is a traveling position. Applicant must be willing to travel and be gone for 4-8 weeks at a time Pay Hourly based on proven experience time and half over 40 hours 65-72 hours weeks per diem paid hotels paid by company traveling paid my company $2,300-$2,700 weekly gross pay We're looking for motivated individuals eager to contribute their skills in a fast-paced environment.
