Masonry Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our veneer stone masonry crews. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This role involves working on-site, assisting with a variety of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects. The Laborer will be responsible for mixing mortar, carrying boxes of stone to masons, and ensuring that the jobsites and tools are kept clean. Candidate will have to work off of scaffolding. This is labor-intensive work, requiring a lot of manual labor lifting and carrying heavy products. The laborer's main responsibility is to ensure that the masons working do not run out of materials. We work year-round in all weather conditions. Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites. Perform tasks such as mixing mortar, carrying stone to masons, cleaning mixer, finishing grout joints, and keeping jobsites clean. Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Requirements Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials weighing 100+ pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as required by the project needs. Must be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers.
