Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a General Construction Laborer and be a vital part of building and maintaining high-quality infrastructure projects. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, supporting skilled trades and ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including site clearing and material staging Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment safely Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to support project execution Operate power tools and equipment with proper safety precautions to assist skilled tradespeople Implement erosion control measures to prevent soil displacement and environmental impact Conduct routine inspections for workplace safety compliance, including adherence to OSHA standards and safety regulations Support equipment repair and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency on-site Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures safely to access work areas as needed Assist with heavy lifting activities while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Follow all safety protocols including respiratory protection use, hazard awareness, and emergency procedures Requirements Prior experience in industrial or commercial construction environments is highly preferred Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical systems, and construction workplace safety regulations Familiarity with erosion control techniques and implementing OSHA safety standards Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks, heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights Strong commitment to workplace safety practices and adherence to all safety regulations including respiratory protection protocols Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus but not required Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Join us in building the future—where your effort makes a difference!
