Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tower Hand/Laborer and be at the forefront of telecommunications infrastructure development! In this energetic role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of communication towers and related equipment. Your hands-on work will involve climbing, rigging, cabling, and operating various field service tools to ensure reliable communication networks. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop specialized skills in RF testing, and tower climbing—all while working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Whether you're experienced in construction or eager to learn, your contribution will be vital to connecting communities through cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, inspection, and maintenance of cell towers, antennas, and associated telecommunications equipment following blueprint specifications. Perform tower climbing using safety protocol adherence and fall protection gear to access high structures safely. Conduct telecommunications testing including radio frequency (RF) to ensure optimal performance. Execute cabling tasks involving low voltage wiring, and high-voltage connections with precision and safety awareness. Support rigging activities for lifting heavy components using construction fall protection systems and proper hand tools. Follow federal construction safety regulations and OSHA safety standards during all field service operations. Perform high-angle rescue operations when necessary to ensure team safety during tower work. Use telecommunications testing equipment to troubleshoot network issues efficiently on-site. Assist with antenna tower climbing activities while adhering to safety protocols for outdoor work environments. Experience Prior experience working as a cell tower technician or in telecommunications field service is highly desirable. Construction experience involving rigging, welding, or general building trades is beneficial. Knowledge of telecommunication fall protection gear, tower climbing techniques, and construction fall protection systems is preferred. Hands-on experience with telecommunication testing equipment such as RF testers or cable analyzers is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work at heights in outdoor environments with outdoor work experience preferred. Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
