Job Description

Perform renovation, remodeling, and construction projects throughout manufacturing and administrative facilities. Build, install, repair, paint and modify walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, cabinetry, and partitions. Construct offices, conference rooms, break areas, storage rooms, and production support spaces. Basic plumbing including toilet and sink installation. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and construction drawings. Install drywall, insulation, trim, molding, doors, windows, and hardware. Perform demolition work related to renovation projects while adhering to safety requirements. Coordinate renovation activities with production departments to minimize operational disruptions. Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and construction equipment safely. Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and applicable building codes. Estimate material requirements and maintain inventory of construction supplies and tools. High school diploma or
GED. 3-5
years of carpentry experience, preferably in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing renovations. Basic plumbing experience. Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Valid driver's license. Strong carpentry and construction skills. Ability to complete renovation projects from planning through completion. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms. This position operates within a manufacturing facility containing active production equipment, forklift traffic, varying temperatures, and construction-related hazards. Required PPE must be worn at all times. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms. This position operates within a manufacturing facility containing active production equipment, forklift traffic, varying temperatures, and construction-related hazards.
