Shop Assistant/Laborer

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant / Laborer to support daily operations in our plumbing and excavation shop. This role is essential in keeping our shop organized, equipment maintained, and crews supplied with the materials they need to succeed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door and grow within the company. ⸻ Responsibilities Deliver parts, tools, and materials to job sites as needed Organize and stock shop shelving and inventory Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard Clean and grease equipment regularly Assist with basic maintenance and repairs on small equipment Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies Support field crews and technicians as needed ⸻ Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Strong work ethic and dependability Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying materials Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks Team-oriented with a positive attitude Reliable and punctual ⸻ Benefits Medical insurance available after 60 days 40 hours of PTO after 90 days 401(k) with company match up to 1% after 90 days Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company On-the-job training ⸻ Why Join Us?
