Landscape Construction Laborer

Shonnard's Landscaping is seeking qualified individuals for full-time employment. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, be willing and able to meet and communicate with customers on a daily basis, manage accounts, show initiative and creativity, be dependable, and punctual. A positive attitude is a must. Shonnard's Landscape is seeking individual with experience in paving stones, flagstone, rocks walls, concrete block retaining walls, water features, lawns, planting, and other general labor related to landscaping. We prefer at least 6 months experience in the field of landscape construction. Our crews typically transition to holiday lighting installation from October-January, so we are seeking candidates who are comfortable being on a roof and enjoy this change of pace! • Assist in the installation of landscaping features such as plants, trees, and hardscaping elements.
• Operate equipment such as excavators and hand tools for various landscaping projects.
• Assist in irrigation system installation and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on landscaping projects.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Qualifications
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of construction techniques
• Ability to read blueprints
• Familiarity with concrete forming and carpentry
• Previous experience in landscaping and paving
• Valid driver's license for transportation to job sites
