Job Description

Utility Services Group, Inc. specializes in underground infrastructure inspection, maintenance and trenchless repair of storm and sanitary sewer systems. Why Us? Responsibilities:
Perform tasks involving strenuous manual laborer in a utility installation work environment. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Safely drive and operate CDL Class B Jet Vac Truck including tanker and air brake endorsements. Operation and driving of Jet Vac is subject to all PennDOT and
FHWA DOT
Regulation for operating a CLASS B vehicle. Perform cleaning operations in accordance with NASSCO standards and client generated standards and specifications. Cleaning and pumping of wet wells, pumping stations and various containment facilities. Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities. Follow directions as provided by USG to complete assigned tasks. Set up and tear down of buy-pass pumping operation to allow for appropriate inspection of pipe within required flow tolerances. Set-up, tear down and operation of traffic control in accordance with DOT Standard operating procedures. Manage a small crew of 2 to 6 people to perform cleaning of sanitary and storm sewers. Disposal of materials at authorized disposal facilities and as directed by management staff. Position is considered a safety sensitive position.
Candidate Requirements:
18 years of age or older Valid Driver's License Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License 1-2 Years of CDL Experience Clean driving record Pre-employment drug and alcohol screen Willing to travel up to 75% Safety Each employee is required to follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures. This position is a "safety sensitive" position as defined by the United States Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing regulations. As a "safety sensitive" classification, you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana. The company provides employees with the necessary safety equipment required for the conditions. The employee is responsible for wearing safety equipment under appropriate circumstances. The employee is also responsible for reporting all safety violations and potentially unsafe conditions to their immediate supervisor or to the safety department.
