Erie, PA Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Outdoor work experience Driver's License Full Job Description Overview Hornaman Construction Inc., is looking for an experienced and dedicated laborer to join our team in Erie, PA. An ideal candidate will have prior experience with general residential construction, will have a positive attitude and be willing to mentor less experienced crew. Candidate will be responsible for safely and respectfully using all supplied power and hand tools. Candidate will be willing to adhere to company dress code; shirts and sweatshirts will be provided. Responsibilities Interpret detailed project plans to successfully complete projects on time, including meeting all safety and code enforcement standards. Coordinate with team members on heavy equipment operation and other site logistics as needed. Perform a variety of construction activities including roofing, siding, hardscape installation (pavers, retaining walls, etc.) framing, drywall installation and finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, trim carpentry and more. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Install doors, cabinets, shower enclosures and other fixtures with consistent precision and attention to detail. Manage demolition and site clean-up as needed. Qualifications Preferred 2+ years of construction experience Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable mode of transportation Basic understanding of materials and code requirements preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including kneeling, bending, and working on uneven terrain. Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Hourly rate determined based on prior experience. Benefits available after introductory period.
Pay:
