Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking The Laborer/Fuser to join our Gas Utility Line Crew. The Laborer/Fuser assists with manual labor tasks, excavation, gas line installation, fusing pipe, & working under the supervision of a foreman and alongside crew members. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with the installation of gas service lines and fusing pipe Support the crew in gas meter installations and internal plumbing connections Operate hand tools and pneumatic piercing tools ("moles") Shovel, trench, and backfill work areas as needed Perform HDPE pipe fusion and utility locating Complete site restoration: grading, seeding, and basic landscaping Follow safety procedures and job-specific protocols Qualifications 3 years laborer experience required 2 years gas utility line experience Ability to safely lift a min. of 50 lbs. Basic knowledge of hand tools Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent required W.A.
