Pipe Laborer Position This position requires heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature. Full time position for pipe laborer to install sanitary laterals, water services, storm, and small diameter storm sewers. Performs a wide variety of manual tasks including pipe assembly, pipe cutting and laying, removal, or forms from set concrete, taking layout shots, directing equipment operators on cuts and fills, etc. Must work well with others on an experienced safe crew. Minimum 3 years' experience required. Will further train the right candidate. Duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew. Digging, spreading, and shoving dirt and gravel using pick and or shovel Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies. Cleans tools, materials, and work areas. Mixes, pours, and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other material using hand tools. QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license Pass a background check and drug test screening Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
