Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks essential to the successful completion of construction projects. From handling tools and materials to assisting with concrete work and site cleanup, your contribution will be instrumental in creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of concrete forms, rebar, and other structural components following blueprint specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently to support various construction tasks Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, concrete blocks, and framing components to ensure smooth workflow Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and surface preparation activities on-site Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute construction plans and specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and workplace safety regulations Participate in site safety meetings and adhere strictly to all safety procedures to promote a secure working environment Skills Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working on construction projects Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, concrete pumps, mixers, and cutting equipment Knowledge of construction estimating principles for material handling and project planning Experience with heavy lifting, metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and renovation work is a plus Familiarity with concrete forming techniques including formwork construction and concrete finishing methods Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols Ability to interpret blueprint specifications for rebar installation, concrete pouring/finishing, formwork setup, and other technical tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction while gaining valuable experience across multiple trades.
