Job Description
Job Overview Duties include shoveling, raking, jack hammering, and the use of multiple small tools. Paving equipment operation. Performs manual and physical labor. Cleans tools, materials, and work areas. Communicates with crew members to ensure safety and efficiency. Qualifications - Who are we looking for? GED/high school diploma or related work experience. 2-4 years of paving industry experience including prep work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, mix designs and job specifications on commercial projects. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Able to commute up to 90 min radius of Ivyland, PA Valid Driver's License Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects in a civil infrastructure setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with asphalt paving. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards, safety protocol adherence, and DOT regulations. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and compactors is a plus. Strong work ethic with excellent teamwork skills; willingness to learn new skills related to paving equipment operation and construction processes.
