JOB OVERVIEW
The General Laborer will assist with the construction, assembly, finishing, loading, and installation of modular building components. This position is hands-on and requires the ability to work safely, follow instructions, and work effectively as part of a team. Previous construction experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. DUTIES Assist with the construction and assembly of modular buildings and components. Load, unload, move, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment. Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly. Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades as directed. Perform measuring, cutting, fastening, drilling, and other basic construction tasks. Assist with interior and exterior finishing work, including drywall, trim, flooring, siding, and general cleanup. Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Follow plans, instructions, and direction from supervisors and foremen. Assist with preparing modules for transportation and installation. Help with setup, installation, and final site work as needed. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and proper tool/equipment procedures. Perform other general construction duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required. Ability to use basic hand and power tools or willingness to learn. Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow directions and work well with others.
