Position Overview As a Landscape Construction Crew Leader, you will be fully responsible for the success of your projects—including installation, safety, crew member training and development, and overall quality of service. You'll lead a crew in both residential and commercial landscape installations, ensuring every project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. What You'll Do Lead a crew in installing landscapes, including planting and hardscaping. Operate and maintain landscape equipment (skid loaders, trucks, trailers, etc.). Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors. Train and mentor crew members using the Watch-Do-Teach methodology. Ensure projects meet Root's Nurseries' quality and safety standards. Ideal Candidate Profile Excellent work track record and reliability. Strong knowledge of landscape construction practices, plant material, and horticultural techniques. Well organized and detail-oriented. 3+ years of landscape installation experience with leadership responsibilities. Ability to read and execute landscape plans accurately. Excellent communication and proven leadership skills. Valid driver's license (CDL a plus). A degree in Landscape Contracting or Horticulture is a plus. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
