•3:00 PM (schedule may vary based on job site needs) About the Opportunity Express Employment Professionals is seeking Utility Laborers for a growing utility and construction company in the North Versailles area. This is a full-time opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors and performing hands-on excavation, piping, and construction work. Candidates should be safety-conscious, physically capable, and interested in building a long-term career with excellent advancement opportunities and benefits upon hire. Job Responsibilities Perform a variety of utility and construction labor tasks at job sites Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards Load, unload, and distribute building materials, equipment, and tools Operate jackhammers, drills, and other construction equipment Set up and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, ramps, and temporary structures Dig ditches and trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil Locate existing underground pipes using locating equipment Assist with piping installation and repair projects Perform landscaping and general labor duties as needed Follow all job site safety requirements and procedures Qualifications Valid Driver License required Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to pass a drug screening Previous utility, construction, excavation, landscaping, or labor experience is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds Ability to dig, shovel, rake, and perform manual excavation and landscaping work Benefits Upon Hire Employees hired permanently are eligible for medical coverage, life insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, up to two weeks of paid vacation, and quarterly bonus opportunities.
