Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to support the installation of rebar, framing, drywall, flooring, and other structural elements Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces; operate concrete mixers and concrete pumps as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks Install or assist with the installation of stucco, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry, roofing, and tile laying Support renovation and restoration projects by performing demolition, cleanup, and site preparation activities Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or other machinery following safety protocols; drive commercial vehicles when required Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure construction environment for all team members Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction estimating is a plus Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings enhances your effectiveness on site Hands-on experience with masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying or concrete finishing is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools confidently is essential Strong understanding of construction safety practices and protocols is highly valued Mostly commercial work with some residential, wage based on experience.
