General Laborer The Saxonburg Borough and the Saxonburg Area Authority are hiring for a General Laborer position. This position provides a variety of routine work for the Borough and the Authority. This employee performs facility operations, labor activities, inspections, routine driving, recording and troubleshooting work. This position is a Monday-Friday, daylight, full-time position. • Maintain storm water facilities, wastewater pump stations, treatment and collection systems
• Assist in construction projects
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed
• Snow plowing, sidewalk maintenance and street sign/light maintenance
• Engage in lifting tasks as required, up to 50 pounds
• Train and operate heavy equipment Qualifications
• Ability to perform lifting tasks safely and effectively
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment is desirable
• Basic math skills for calculations
• Capability to maintain and repair equipment as needed
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Must possess a valid
