Road Laborer/Operator position for the Public Works Department. Overview . Join our team as a Public Works Laborer/Operator and be a vital part of maintaining and improving our community's infrastructure! This energetic role involves operating heavy equipment, assisting with construction projects, and supporting highway maintenance efforts to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable public works services. You will work on diverse civil infrastructure projects, utilizing your mechanical skills and construction experience to make a tangible impact every day. Hiring Range is $46,152 ($22.19/hr.) to $50,768 ($24.41/hr.) dependent upon qualifications and experience. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in construction and maintenance of roads, operation of heavy equipment and machinery. This position requires a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License Class A with air brake endorsement or ability to obtain within 9 months of the date of hire.
