Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Shop Laborer, where you will play a vital role in supporting various construction projects by assisting with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople to ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with working on equipment and trucks, loading, unloading, and organizing building materials and supplies using hand tools and power tools Support mechanics, carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks Operate heavy equipment safely under supervision for site preparation and material movement Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly Support outdoor hardscaping projects including paving, concrete, utilities and landscape work Qualifications Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures on construction sites Basic understanding of construction materials such as drywall, stucco, masonry, tile, wood framing, and building hardware Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans for various installation tasks Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions on snow removal, hardscaping or remodeling projects is a plus Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety compliance at all times Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Join us in building quality structures while developing your skills in a fast-paced environment!
