Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Residential Construction Assembly Person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of construction tasks on residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming house plans into beautiful, functional homes, supporting remodeling, new builds, and renovation projects across diverse residential sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work both outdoors and in, utilize a broad skill set, and be part of a team dedicated to excellence in building construction. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications for residential projects. Assemble and install building components such as cabinetry, flooring, tile, trim carpentry, windows, doors, and hardware with precision. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks including caulking, plastering, framing, and finishing work. Install building materials in accordance with safety protocols and building codes. Manage outdoor work environments by handling heavy equipment operation and maintaining site safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of construction projects while adhering to project plans and quality expectations. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations; assist in remodeling or hardscape installations as needed. Skills Experience with building construction, including light framing, trim carpentry, window installation, and flooring installation. Safety protocol adherence on residential sites. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during outdoor projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various installation tasks such as tile laying, caulking, plastering, cabinet installation. Experience with remodeling projects is a plus. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interpret technical instructions clearly. Prior construction site experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship in residential projects.
