Job Summary Maron Construction is seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Support Worker to assist with daily construction activities, material handling, site organization, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidate will support construction crews, maintain clean and safe work areas, and help ensure projects progress efficiently while following established safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist construction workers and supervisors with daily job-site activities. Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and supplies. Prepare work areas by clearing debris and arranging necessary tools and equipment. Support basic construction tasks under the direction of experienced team members. Assist with measuring, cutting, carrying, and positioning materials as instructed. Maintain clean, organized, and accessible work areas throughout the project. Collect and dispose of construction waste according to site procedures. Help set up and remove temporary barriers, materials, and work equipment. Monitor tools and supplies and report shortages or damaged equipment. Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate tasks with construction crews. Use hand tools and basic equipment safely when authorized and trained. Follow site safety rules, wear required personal protective equipment, and report hazards. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in designated areas. Help prepare job sites for daily work and end-of-day cleanup. Report accidents, unsafe conditions, and equipment concerns promptly. Perform other general construction support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous construction, general labor, or material-handling experience preferred. Basic understanding of construction sites and workplace safety practices. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic. Good communication and attention to detail. Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials safely. Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required. Willingness to learn construction procedures and develop practical skills. Ability to use basic hand tools safely after appropriate instruction. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe job site. Flexible availability based on project schedules.
