This position assists equipment operators, foremen, and other utility crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and willing to travel and work in all weather conditions and environments. Responsibilities Perform general labor duties such as shoveling, grading, trenching, compacting, and site cleanup. Assist with installation of pipe, drainage systems, concrete, and other construction materials. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as directed. Set up and maintain traffic control devices and warning signs as needed. Follow directions from Foremen and Superintendents to support daily production goals. Adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues promptly. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience on a utility crew installing storm, sewer, and water lines is preferred but not required. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as required. Must maintain a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
