This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are eager to learn a skilled trade in the mechanical insulation industry. No prior experience is required—we provide on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced foremen and journeymen to install mechanical insulation on commercial and industrial construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. Essential Responsibilities Assist with the installation of mechanical insulation on piping, ductwork, equipment, and HVAC systems. Load, unload, and organize materials and tools. Measure, cut, and install insulation materials under supervision. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Work closely with foremen and crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently. Attend safety meetings and participate in company training. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Construction experience is helpful but not required . Willingness to learn a skilled trade. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Dependable and punctual. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively. Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Work at heights when required. Bend, kneel, squat, and climb throughout the workday. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Stand and walk for extended periods. Work Schedule Full-time position. Must be willing to work 40+ hours per week , including overtime when required. Occasional weekend work may be necessary to meet project schedules. Travel Requirements Must be willing to travel to various job sites. Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on project location. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are preferred. Safety Requirements Safety is Murphy Company's highest priority.

Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
