Experience in underground utilities, specifically water, sewer, and drainage, is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. A CDL is not required at the time of hire, but applicants must be willing to obtain one if needed. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position working outdoors as part of an underground utility crew. Pay is based on experience. Responsibilities Install water, sewer, and drainage systems Assist equipment operators with daily jobsite tasks Handle and install pipe, fittings, tools, and jobsite materials Perform and assist with hand digging, grading, backfilling, and other general labor duties Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and organization Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Follow company and jobsite safety procedures Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Positive attitude and strong work ethic Willingness to learn, take direction, and work hard Ability to work well as part of a team Interest in learning the underground utility trade and growing within the company Previous underground utility or construction experience preferred, but not required Willingness to obtain a CDL, with company reimbursement Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position, including lifting and carrying heavy materials, frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, hand digging, and working on your feet for extended periods Ability to safely perform physically demanding work throughout the workday Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions Benefits Health insurance with a portion paid by the employer Dental and vision insurance available
