The roll involves maintaining equipment and keeping a clean safe job site. Must be able to layout, dig and pour foundations. Install underground utilities such as water and sewer mains, laterals and connections, primary and secondary electric conduit. Clearing and grading building pads, driveways , yards, etc. This is a physically demanding job that requires getting in and out of equipment and ditches frequently, building bulkheads, installing pipe and whatever is necessary to get the job done. Must have drivers license and keep service truck organized and equipped. Lead and work along side of small crew of 1-4 Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Conduct utility locating to accurately identify underground utilities before excavation or construction activities begin. Ensure adherence to federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations specific to heavy equipment operation on-site. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, compactors Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on construction machinery. Valid driver's license. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise a small crew effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and productivity. Construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, grading, utility work, and general construction processes. Ability to perform utility locating accurately using specialized tools and techniques. Familiarity with construction grading techniques and heavy equipment operation standards. Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely. Join us in building the future!
