Job Description:
Moore Construction Co., Inc. is seeking dependable and hardworking laborers with a valid Class A or B CDL. Please note this is primarily a labor-intensive position. While CDL is required, driving responsibilities are minimal and mainly involve moving trucks, trailers, and equipment. The majority of your time will be spent performing physical labor and assisting with sewer and storm water line rehabilitation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and handling equipment (50-75 lbs). Assist in job site setup, cleanup, and confined space entry. Direct operators of heavy equipment for alignment and movement. Safely operate CDL vehicles as needed to relocate equipment and crews. Review work permits, job site videos, and assist in rehabilitation processes. Work as part of a team to complete physically demanding tasks efficiently. Other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test Ability to walk, stand, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and lift up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working in confined spaces and wearing required PPE (respirator, harness, etc.). Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor labor in varying conditions.
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in outdoor construction (sewer, storm water, or utilities preferred). Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL (Tanker endorsement preferred). Must be willing to travel-( Our team gathers with the crew on Monday mornings and heads out from that location. No personal vehicle is needed) Strong teamwork and communication skills.
