Knoxville and Sevierville areas We are looking for reliable, hardworking construction workers to help build and finish new residential homes. We are looking for both experienced workers and motivated workers who are willing to learn and develop their skills . The current project is located in Jefferson City, TN , with upcoming projects in the Knoxville and Sevierville areas . Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the job site are required. Workers should be prepared to travel to different project locations as projects change. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with general new home construction and finishing work Install exterior siding and perform exterior finishing work Install insulation Install and finish drywall (sheetrock/"rigips") Prepare walls and surfaces for painting Paint interior walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces Install interior and exterior doors Install trim, baseboards, and other finish carpentry Install tile on floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas Install various types of flooring Perform basic framing and construction tasks as needed Measure, cut, and install construction materials accurately Assist with repairs, adjustments, and punch-list work Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe Remove construction debris and clean the home during and after construction Use basic hand and power tools safely Follow plans, measurements, instructions, and supervisor direction Help with a variety of tasks required to complete the interior and exterior of a new home Skills & Qualifications Construction experience is preferred, but not required for the right person Experience with siding, insulation, drywall, painting, doors, tile, flooring, or finish work is a plus Ability and willingness to learn new construction skills Ability to use basic hand and power tools Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Able to work independently and as part of a team Able to follow instructions and work safely Good physical condition and ability to perform construction work, including lifting and standing for extended periods Basic English communication skills required — must be able to understand and communicate basic job instructions Reliable transportation required Must be able to commute to the current job site in Jefferson City, TN Must be willing and able to travel/commute to future projects in the Knoxville and Sevierville areas Must have a good work ethic and take pride in your work What We Offer Pay based on experience and skill level Opportunity for experienced workers to use and develop their skills Opportunity for motivated workers with less experience to learn multiple construction trades Variety of work rather than being limited to one type of task Opportunity to grow with the company If you are experienced in residential construction or are motivated to learn and build a career in the trades, we would like to hear from you!
